~Tuesday~ It’s that time of the year again for the University Awards for Exellence—in the categories of Outstanding Service, Innovations, Public Service, Safety/Heroism, and Human Relations.
To that end, a few of my colleagues got together and went up on the roof of our building for some pictures. If you’re a long-time reader of my blog, you might remember the last time I was on this roof, in 2010:
That was the year Nick and I were nominated for the award. We had both won at our organizational level, so this picture was to be used at the university-level awards, which neither of us ended up winning.
This year, our colleague, Twanda, was nominated. So, we went back on the roof to take some pictures with her. For the first couple of pictures, all of us jumped up in the air, “On 3!”
But for the last one, since we were standing behind Twanda and she couldn’t see us, we mouthed to each other, “Don’t jump. Let her jump by herself.”
