The Owl and the Pussycat (Take 2) and Yentl

~Sunday!  This weekend while sitting for Frances and Vincent at Bob’s, I tried, for the second time, to watch his DVD copy of Barbra Streisand’s The Owl and the Pussycat, without luck.

For the second time in as many tries, it got to a certain (albeit, different each time) place and just froze up. I was unable to start it back up, even after removing the DVD and powering off by the TV and the DVD player. Oh well. I think it was not meant to be to see that movie.

I was successful at watching his DVD copy of Yentl, though, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s not the first time I’ve seen it, but it’s been years and years since I have, back in the theater when I did.

Mandy Patinkin as Avigdor in Yentl

I was as attracted to “Avigdor” (Mandy Patinkin) this time as I was when I first saw it. What a beautiful man, and so my type.
