The Stampede Jamboree

My flight to DC arrived at BWI at 6:30. By 7:00, I was on the MARC train into Union Station on the red line. Then, up to the Friendship Heights stop.

Phyl was waiting in the street with one of the babies (poodles), and Jeane was up indoors waiting for me. Jimmy was asleep on the couch.

We chatted until about 9:45, Jeane went to bed, and I headed for the Capital Hilton and the first dance of the weekend for the Atlantic Stampede Rodeo — the Stampede Jamboree.

Wall to wall cowboys! I did about five line dances, and two-stepped with the most beautiful cowboy from Chicago — Scott. I danced a couple of dances with Joe, a guy I know from Raleigh, who was there.

I left the Hilton at about 1:40 in time to catch the last train back up to Friendship Heights. I love dancing, and beautiful men.
