I had a skip-level meeting with Rich at the end of the day today. We had a good chat, and he made me feel good about my contributions. We had some clarification on my “dress code policy as it pertains to our gender, and gender expression non-discrimination policies” note.
I made a delicious sweet and sour chicken dish from one of my recently purchased WW cookbooks. It wasn’t called Sweet & Sour Chicken, though, it was something like, “Chicken Hawaiian,” or “Chicken Pineapple Delight,” something like that. I didn’t realize until I started “whisking” the catsup, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch together and saw it turn thick and the color and texture of sweet and sour sauce, that that was what I was making. I found that charming. 🙂
