Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo…

The MSBC met for lunch today, and everyone actually showed up. Janet announced that she had just written out a check for $14,000 taxes, and then said, “There. I’m all right now.” We slid the discussion of the book forward another week, as I had told Mary on Friday that I wasn’t going to be able to make the meeting today so to not worry about reading. No one had any strong objections to the move.

I spent a lot of time today preparing for my diversity presentation tomorrow, about which I have some angst. There was a lot of 11th hour stuff going on trying to get the last two pieces of information for the 4.4.1 UNIX installation guide update that was due today.

I picked Courtney up at the airport at 6:15, and we stopped to have dinner at Quizno’s near the Prime Outlets mall. I had a Turkey-Bacon-Guacamole sub, which was out of this world. Not exactly low on points, but since I was dining with the creator of The Deniet, none of the points counted.

We drove to Page Auditorium and saw the Trockaderos. Oh my God. We laughed and laughed and laughed. I would definitely see them again and drag anyone I could along with me. I hate that Robert missed it.

Once home, we had a food fest, as we seem to do when Courtney visits, even though we’re both “dieting.” She also listened to my diversity presentation, which was real helpful. I made a couple of changes to the survey due to her feedback. We got to bed at about midnight.
