We had MSBC lunch today. Sharon was out of town, and Janet never showed. Me, Mary, and Suzanne had fun as usual. Suzanne shared her frustrating customer service story with Volkswagen regarding her sunroof tubes saga. Unbelievable.
Robert came over for dinner, and told me about the new car he had purchased, and all about taking the Mercedes “for a ride” to try and sell it. I think overall he did quite well, though he really did make a lot of emotional decisions.
We tried the little Mexican restaurant (Los Cadozores?) in the shopping center at the corner of Avent Ferry and Gorman. I had a taco salad. It was skimpy, but pretty good. The salsa was delicious, though the chips weren’t all that. They have beer specials for a $1 a bottle there. I’ll probably go back.
We practiced a couple of dances, and headed out to Flex at about 8:30. It ended up getting pretty crowded and Joe showed up! It’s been quite a while since he’s been. We had the best Shadow Dances together. Love it. Love it. Love it.
I have also got “the Cher” (or “MLD”) dance down pat! Yippee!
Before leaving we made plans to meet at Van’s house at around 3:00 on Saturday for the Brooks & Dunn concert at Walnut Creek, which starts at 5:30. That should be an interesting outing. It’s my first non-bar social events with these guys, and it’s been quite a while since I’ve been to “the Creek.”
We came home and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMed.
