Mixed connections…

I was at Triangle Car Care at 6:15 this morning, wrote up the work order, and walked up to the corner to wait for Sharon, who was to arrive at 6:30. At 6:35, I called her pager to make sure she remembered that she was supposed to pick me up.

“Yes,” she said, “I’m turning the corner where the Exxon is now.”

“The Exxon?”

“Yes, near your house.”

Uh-oh. I told her that I was at TCC, next to HER house.

I would never ask her to drive all the way to my house to get me in the morning, but it’s nice to know she would, and really, not at all surprising. She’s such good people.

She dropped me off at the Tivoli building at about 7:05, still on time to make her 7:15 workout date. Good deal.

I checked in with them during the day, and they had found a loose cap on the transmission spout, which they tightened, and replaced the drained fluid. That’s all they could find. They said they noticed that my annual inspection was due in September, which I’m grateful for them noticing. They took care of that, and replaced my windshield wiper blades in order to pass inspection.

Judy M. took me by there after work to pick up the car. Uneventful. And I offered to meet her to take care of her car one day.
