I had my stress test with Ava and Dr. Jacokes. I “passed with flying colors.” I got to work with only about an hour to work before meeting Suzanne and Janet for lunch at The Deli Box. We had a good lunch out on the picnic tables.
At home, I sent out a note to the dancers about Sunday’s upcoming event. I hope we have enough dancers to show up.
Robert and I went for a walk at around 6 around Jordon Lake. We ran into one of the guys from the ride, and later saw him sitting and chatting with Barry B.
We left at around 8:00 and stopped at Sam’s on the way to picking Steve up at the airport. We bought a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts, two bags of “Energy Bars,” and a bag of Cape Cod Potato Chips. A veritable carb fest.
We picked Steve up without incident and met Joe at the Rock-o-la at Mission Valley. Dinner was good and fun. Joe was a little down tonight after getting news from his recent attempts at securing a home mortgage loan.
Back at home Robert and I played a game of Gin Rummy, which didn’t seem to be much fun for him in the end.
