Robert and I went to Bogart’s for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We had a $50 gift certificate from Robert’s nephew and his girlfriend, Bryan and Jen, and we used that toward our bill of just under $53.00. The food was very disappointing there, but we both enjoyed trying a new place, and we did have one of the best desserts I’ve ever tasted — a butterscotch cookie, with coffee ice cream on top of it, with some caramel sauce over it. It’s rated as the 8th best dessert in the country or something like that. It was the deal!
Back home, we both read, and hit the sack at a reasonable hour as Robert has to be up at 6:45 in the morning.
