An extra day every four years. Whoopie. I was supposed to meet Steve for breakfast, but just couldn’t get up for it. I had also told Michael I would try and make the 11:00 Drag Brunch fundraiser at Vin’s but that didn’t happen either.
I met Steven at Carmichael at 1:00, and we did the elliptical machines for 30 minutes, and then walked the track 6.5 laps. He’s easy to talk to, and seems to be getting excited about his trip to Austin. The time walking just flew by. Before I knew it, we were on the 6th lap. Cool.
I did some work work during the afternoon, mostly cleaning up my inbox, and responding to a lot of overdue mail.
I met Joe at Flex just after 7, and we played pool. Robert joined us at about 8:45, and then Andre showed up. We actually had a good time playing pool, and the Academy Awards were on in the background. I love Renee Zellweger. I was pulling for her, Sean Penn in Mystic River, and Charlize Theron for Monster.
I left there at about 11, checked my work mail when I got home, and Robert arrived shortly after that.
