Web based forms, 10/10, and dancing…

I attended the Dreamweaver Web-based Forms class today, and it was excellent. Right on time.

I had a meeting with the PM team today with Charlie, Dave, and Woody. Dave gives me a woody. Such my type.

I had a good meeting with Cassandra from 2:30 until about 3:10. We got the nonconformances sorted out from the SCM audit to apply to other teams preventively.

I left work at about 6:00, had that delicious Lean Cuisine Orange Beef for dinner, and then headed out to class.

We got our website information plans back, and I got a 10 out of 10 on it. Yippee. Assuming my website, our final project, doesn’t bomb, I should get an A in that class. I spent most of the “working” class adding pop-up browsers when mousing over salient points on a chart on my site. I want to place the pop-up browser near the highlighted area, but it keeps popping it up in the upper left quadrant of the screen. Dr. Dicks said he thinks there’s a way to give it coordinates on the screen where you want it to pop up. I’ll have to investigate that.

Got to dancing just after nine, and had a great time. Another great shadow dance with Joe, loved Shottish and the California Bump with Robert, and was glad to see Carl teach the Georgia Winder (I think that’s what it’s called), as I have to keep trying to remember that one, with it only finally becoming rote to me halfway through the song. I think I’ve got it hard-wired now. 🙂

Robert left at a little after 11, saying that his toe hurt. He had stubbed it earlier in the day, and Michael had stepped on it or kicked it during an earlier dance.

I ended up staying much later, I think it was 12:30 before I left. Shawn (and Josh) came in with a bunch of straight friends (2 guys and 4 girls, I think), and he wanted to dance, so I joined him. We did Rocket together, just the two of us, which was fun. I did a two-step with him, and afterward he kept thanking me and saying, “I want you to teach me how to two-dance better.”

I love dancing. It brings so much joy to my life.
