Back to the gym…

Back to work wasn’t too bad today, especially since it’s TUESDAY, and not MONDAY. That means I didn’t have to stress out all morning about my standing 1:00 Monday meeting. I looked through the presentation I have to give to the Australian folks on Thursday night, and I know most of it. That was good news; just a little review during the week should do it. I completed the update of the XVIA DOM and sent it out for review. I sent a note out soliciting panelists for the June 24 GBLT Education Module.

Steven got me back to the “Jim” today. Yippee. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, and we walked two miles on the track after that. I was surprised, and pleased, that the exercise seemed to have helped my back, not aggravated it.

I booked mine and Steve’s vacation to Montreal, the first week in August. As it turns out, we’ll catch the last two days of Pride there, which should be cool. Because of that we weren’t able to book the gay B&B Friday and Saturday, but will move into it on Monday for the rest of the week.

I also planned my June 25 weekend in NYC, which also turns out is during Pride week! I put a flight on hold, and will stop by the airport tomorrow to pay for it with vouchers. Once that’s booked, I’ll book two nights at the Sheraton Manhattan using my points to get the $350/night room free. It’s just off Times Square, and I’ve stayed there before.

I’ll get up with Peter and Philip tomorrow to see if we can plan a get-together. It’s shaping up to be a fun-filled, cheap weekend. If they take both my vouchers, my flight will cost about $35.00.
