Out too late…

Work was once again uneventful. I tied up some loose ends before vacation, and set up both my e-mail and voice mail out-of-the-office delegation notices.

I stopped at Harris Teeter on the way home and picked up some Club crackers, Cajun crab dip, two filet mignons, and two potatoes to bake. Robert came over and we marinated the filets in some Black Peppercorn marinade, and then grilled them. Yum. Yum. Yum. They ended up being cooked perfectly, as were the baked potatoes. They were big slabs of meat, and we both ate “the whole thing.”

We napped from about 9:00 – 10:30, got up, called Joe, and met him out at CCs at 11:30. It was kind of dead in there when we first arrived, but eventually filled up enough. Two Lesbians, Steevie and Judy (though I really want to write her name Judee or Judie), introduced themselves to us, and asked us which was the better of the two bars, CCs or Legends. They were here from Myrtle Beach, and had come up to see Sara(h) McLaughlin perform, I’m assuming at the Regency Park Amphitheater. Steevie works in one of the gay bars in MB, and Judy works in a resort. Judy actually wrote her name and number down for Joe for him to look up while he’s down there next weekend with Ben and Dale.

The drag show was decent, but as always, so late. We left at about 1:20, since I have to be up at 5:30 in the morning.
