Home sweet home…

Joe and Richard picked me up just before checkout time at noon. We had brunch at Harper’s, right there by the hotel. I had an omelet, which came with a choice of two sides, and I chose grilled ham and the hashbrown casserole, which was phenomenal.

We stopped by Richard’s house on the way out, as he had ridden in Joe’s SUV with us. He has a beautiful house, and I fell in love with one of his dogs who looked a lot like Sophie did.

We had an uneventful ride back, stopping for coffee at a Mickey D’s along the way. We got back to Raleigh just after 4:00.

I got to Flex at just after 8:00. Robert F. was there, and we chatted a bit before Ken joined us. I always forget Ken’s name, so I was glad Robert was there to remind me. Robert told us about seeing “Moving Out,” and how good it was. Darn! I had just read about it last week, and tonight was closing night. Oh well.

Joe arrived a little after 8:30, and joined our conversation. I met a guy named David there, and chatted with him for a while, and then Brian arrived. We had a fun flirty night.

Back to school tomorrow.
