I had the most productive day of 2005 so far. I worked all day on my presentation for tomorrow morning’s WIM/TUM PET Meeting.
Rhonda and I did a few laps around the building (inside), while she told me the highlights of the department’s trip to Austin. Some funny stories.
Mel dropped by, and told me that I have received a “1” (highest possible) performance rating for last year. I have never had a “1” in my entire (almost 18-year) career at IBM, and it’s been a goal of mine. YIPPEE!
I stayed at work until 7:30, as when I tried to create a sample document like I will do in my presentation tomorrow, some things were not working. Thank god Jason was still in the office in Austin, and helped me with a few things. It’s still not where I’d like it to be, and I hope that doesn’t keep me from sleeping tonight. I need to be in the office by 7AM tomorrow, to work out any last kinks.
At home, I made a macaroni and beef and cheese entree, which was delicious, and then had a big old salad. I used Tostitos salsa for the dressing, which only has 15 calories per tablespoon. It didn’t taste as good as I’d hoped it would, though, but still, a good choice. I had the cheese and garlic pretzels for dessert.
I drank so much water today, at least 90 ounces. 64 ounces is the “requirement.” I’ve been “pissing like a racehorse” all day. I wonder where that came from. Do racehorses piss more than other horses?
I worked on homework the rest of the night.
