Beautiful house, beautiful man…

I had an intense day at work today. Just before I left, I think I got everything working for Tuesday’s demo to the WIM/TUM team. Thank god.

I left work at 6:00. As soon as I opened the door to my place, I smelled clean. Robert had done a thorough cleanup — bathrooms, floors, vacuuming, some dusting, emptied trash cans, made my bed, and complete with the ends of the toilet paper rolls folded to a point, with the ultimate highlight of finding a Nutrisystem caramel dessert bar on my pillow in the place of a mint. What a sweet, sweet man. How do I love thee? These ways. Thanks, baby.

I got the next chapter of reading done for 508 tonight. Steve “twisted my arm” (okay, maybe a 1-degree rotation was all it took) to go out. We met at Flex just before 11. We spent most of the night talking with Joe (from the ride), his boyfriend Phil, a guy they had just met named Jeff, I believe, and Michael L., who was totally shit-faced.

Steve and I ended up at IHOP. I got the Pigs in a Blanket, my standard, and two pieces of toast, which I wanted immediately to absorb the alcohol. I did only eat two of the four little piglets, so that’s good. Let’s see, what was that again… “Avoid alcohol. It’s extra calories and it erodes your willpower.” Still true.

Oh well, back on it tomorrow.
