Who moved the first day of Spring?

I hate an annual event that doesn’t fall on the same day each year. When I was married, I always sent my wife flowers on the first day of Spring, and still remember the day for her even though it’s been over 10 years since we went our separate ways.

Unpredictably, this event falls on the 20th instead of the 21st. I like it when it falls on the 21st. 9 out of 10 times when it falls on the 20th I miss it. Maybe I can look it up for the next 10 years and put it in my Palm Pilot. That’s the only “sure thing” place for me.

Gotta love the Internet. Wow, good thing I checked. It’s on the 20th 3 out of the next 4 years. Who knew?

I’ve got it all Palm-Piloted now. All set through 2009.

We turned in our Usability Test Report group project tonight in class. Thank god that’s over with. We had a great team, and it was fun at times, but overall, too grueling.

<Whining>Have I mentioned before that group projects in grad school are too taxing? Even with the Internet and e-mail: document versioning, Mac vs. PC, tool versioning, and just meshing schedules are problems.</Whining>

I’m in a little bit of a funk, once again overwhelmed by work, and two classes. I really need to find a summer course to take, even though the choices suck. Dr. Dicks made some remarks during class tonight like people (besides me, that is) have been bugging him about the lack of classes to take, and it’s true. I am going to end up taking that stupid map course. What sucks about it is that it’s only 2 credit hours, which means making up 1 hour in the future at some time.
