I was awakened at 7:30 by what sounded like a humongous bag of golf balls being poured on my roof. The wind was blowing like crazy, and I looked outside to see hail of said size pelleting my car and the ground all around. Damn!
I woke up an hour later, and the sun was shining. Weird weather.
I read about 6 chapters of Information Architecture, and was inspired by the chapter that directed us to do a content analysis of our website. I started planning the information I want to know about each information item for the ME Web site, and shortly after that began creating a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of the items.
After creating all the headings, I decided to check out the database feature of Microsoft Works. I’m not crazy about Works, but I think it might come in handy later on to have these items already in a database, so went with that. The more I did this, the more things I thought about collecting about each item. Grrrrrrr.
I watched a couple more episodes of W&G on DVD, and then took a two-hour nap. Nasty habit.
I got up at 4:00, and went to the lake for a 3-mile walk. It was like a time warp there today. It really looked like Fall. There weren’t any trees blooming, unlike the many around my house that are. It was deceivingly warm, however. I started off with a ball cap and a sweater jacket on, and after about the first mile, had them both off.
I worked more on my information items analysis until about 8:30. I played an hour of Zuma.
I met Brian at Flex at about 9:45. There was a little conflama there between the two drag queens doing karaoke. One said about the other, “I’ve had some complaints from people.” And the other said about her, “I don’t want to say anything bad about her, because she’s just so nice and everybody loves her, but I made this here dress and I’m in the Miss NC blah-blah pageant, and she just throws those clothes together.” So catty.
We went to Legends later on, where we found out that Mr. I-don’t-like-labels is a right-wing-gay.
