Odds & Ends…

Tying up loose ends from yesterday:

I looked at the business card that the owner of Brigs gave me in the bar a week or so ago. It announces him as “Co-Owner / Manager.” His name is Jeff.

I like knowing those pictures are in my Palm Pilot. Things that make you go, “Hmmmm!”

I worked non-stop today, and got a lot done. Interesting correlation. More things that make you go, “Hmmmmm!”

I spent from 9-5 (sounds like a Dolly Parton song) working on the OS/400 Password Synchronization Plug-in Installation and Configuration Guide, and participated in a conference call from 5-6, with two participants in Irvine, CA, and one in Australia on the Gold Coast (where it was 8AM Friday morning for him). Love these multi-timezone meetings.

I returned home to find all of my dishes put away, thanks to a sweet man who left my house this morning.

I got a package in the mail today from my sister. In it was a t-shirt of mine that I had loaned her to take to Mexico. She wanted a big one to use as a “nightshirt,” as she had forgotten to bring a nightgown. She had attached a yellow sticky to the shirt, which said:

John – Thanks so much for the nightshirt. I would have been naked without it, literally! Also, it reminded me of home and family while I was exploring a new country. Thanks again! Vivian

I had a NutriSystem dinner — the Vegetarian Lasagna entree, which is quite yum. A new “box o’ food” arrived yesterday, so I need to get back on track.

I devised yesterday’s journal entry, and then this one. Now, I’m getting off this computer to read a little of my book club book: The Power of Full Engagement.
