I did a peer edit on the Tru64 Adapter Installation and Configuration Guide for Rhonda, and sent her the results electronically. I attended Loretta’s 1.5-hour conference call on, “TIGR Training Session: SWG QMS Part 2 (Details of the SWG BSO).”
I drove to Durham, to Robert’s new place, which I really, really liked. It’s so “clean” looking in there — both physically, and aesthetically.

Free screening of award winning film: THE EDUCATION OF SHELBY KNOX at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke on Thursday, June 23, at 7pm at the in the WHITE AUDITORIUM on the East Campus of Duke University.
A facilitated panel discussion will follow.
The Education of Shelby Knox profiles a young native of Lubbock, Texas, on the rocky road through high school. At 15, Shelby pledges celibacy until marriage, but because Lubbock has one of the highest teen pregnancy and STD rates in the state, she also spearheads a campaign for comprehensive sex education in the high schools, opposing the established “abstinence-only” curriculum. When the campaign broadens with a fight for a gay-straight alliance club in the high school, Shelby confronts her parents and her faith as she begins to understand how deeply personal beliefs can inform political action.
If the movie and discussion don’t end too late, EAGLE people and their friends/family can meet for an after-movie get-together at Francesca’s on Ninth Street.
Most of the other EAGLE folks left after the screening. Robert and I stayed to listen to the the panel discussion, which wasn’t very compelling, but interesting nonetheless. Jon left a little ways into the panel discussion.
This documentary will be shown on UNC-TV as part of PBS’s P.O.V. series on Saturday evening, 06/25/05, at 11:00PM. It’s worth a look.
We had a small bowl of ice cream at Robert’s before I headed back to Raleighwood.
