Fill it with air, tie it with a twisty, paint it pink, and LET IT GO…

People just can’t seem to “let go” of “the incident” that happened on October 21, 2004.

This past Sunday, in the 7th paragraph of an article on the front page of the N&O, that picture is referenced yet again.

I submitted this letter to the editor. We’ll see if it gets published:

Regarding the article, “A grass-roots star rises on the right,” by Yonat Shimron on 07/10/05

I’m one of the two gay men referenced in “Call2Action’s two-month boycott of The News & Observer for running a photo of two gay men.”

My question is, when is Mr. Noble going to spend two months of energy boycotting the venues catering to heterosexual men who are still members of his “major-league hedonism” club– “partying, drinking beer, and chasing girls” – a group he admits to being a former member of?

Last I heard that group was way larger than, and doing way more damage to, the “sanctity of marriage” than gay men ever will.

I walked around the lake today, and after that, went to Helios, where I enjoyed a cup of coffee and worked on my journal entries from the weekend.
