Lunch with Raj, iPod loading, and dancing…

I met Raj for lunch today. We haven’t met in forever. We did our usual: lunch at Chick-fil-A, and then a walk over to, and through, Sam’s Club.

Out of habit, I picked up a beaucoup-pound package of Cabot 50% Light White Cheddar Cheese, and a gazilion-pack of gum. It wasn’t until I was heading for the register that it occured to me that Sam’s Club is part of the Wal-Mart debacle.

I really agonized about getting these items, but in the end did. I did decide not to get any of my holiday gifts there this year, though, and I usually get quite a few.

I loaded several more of my CDs onto my iPod:

The Phantom of the Opera
Bonnie Raitt: Luck of the Draw
Vivaldi's La Stravaganza
Best of Luther Vandross
Linda Ronstadt featuring Aaron Neville
Talking Heads

I also, just for the hell of it, downloaded my 258 Alaskan Cruise pictures to my iPod, just to see what they’d look like on the little screen, and to see how much space they’d take up on my “60GB” device.

I was fairly impressed with the quality of the photo display, and never cease to be amazed at how much stuff can be stored on 60 GB.

Dancing was good exercise and still fun tonight. The crowd was pretty light.

Carl taught “Ooh, Ah” for the lesson.

Rick asked if he could substitute for Robert on a waltz.

Anthony asked me to shadow dance to Steam.

Adam isn’t going to be the DJ at Sunday night dancing at CCs, which starts this Sunday.
