Global Village coffee, waking, and editing…

I met Joe at the

Global Village

coffee shop on Hillsborough Street, where I used half of the free gift card E-Ching gave me last semester to thank me for participating in one of her usability tests. Thanks E-Ching!

From there I went to Carmichael, where I walked for four miles on the

indoor track.

While doing so, I listened to the NPR: Most E-Mailed Stories for Sunday, 11 Dec 2005 podcast, whose lead story was, “Medication Shows Promise in Treating Alcoholism.”

Two fascinating (♥♥♥) ones out of the other five stories were, “More ‘PostSecrets’ Revealed, in Book Form,” and “Book Tracks ‘Last Chance’ for Texas Youths.”

Back home, at about 10PM, I spent about an hour-and-a-half editing a grad school student’s paper, before hitting the sack.
