Robert arrived mid-afternoon, and we went to The Fresh Market in Cameron Village to pick out a dessert for tonight. We settled on a delicious-looking Caramel-Apple Pie.
We had dinner at Mary Lou’s, which was quite pleasant. A friend of hers named Susan joined us.
We had shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Dinner started with a killer salad, and the meal consisted of steak, asparagus, and mushroom and onions. It was all very, very good.
The pie was pretty damned good, too.
I borrowed a Reba CD from Mary Lou, because I thought it was one that I was missing, but it turns out it’s not. I hate it when that happens.
non sequitur: “Brigner really doesn’t like it when we play that kind of music this late.” Whatever.
Robert and I finished up a quite difficult crossword puzzle.
