Easy living, last newsletter update, some dandy candy, and dancing…

I met with my financial advisor today, and we talked about the possibility of me continuing to work two days a week for the rest of my life — or living on my current salary for the rest of my life.

He said, “As long as you continue to take 4% or less a year out of your portfolio, I’d feel comfortable with that.” So would I.

I met with Myra, and she had a few corrections/suggestions for the newsletter, all of which I agreed with and liked. I made them.

Robert arrived between 5:30 and 6:00, and we had turkey burgers and a rice and broccoli side dish for dinner.

He had made some candy, which I thought was out of this world — still do. They were these buttery caramels — an attempt to recreate the recipe from these killer, very expensive caramels he’d bought a month or so ago.

I thought they were delicious, and an impressive first attempt to recreate by reading the ingredients on them, and guessing at the portions of each. Thanks, my sweet! Sweet!

Dancing was okay tonight — a fair amount of dancers, a small number of bar patrons.

Carl reviewed both the Hideaway Cha and the Cowboy Hand Jive tonight. I need to add these new dances to my repertoire list.

We worked on an Indy crossword puzzle when we got home.
