A lesbian confused for a pirate, an affirmation, and re-reading Memoirs of a Geisha…

Love this one from overheardinnewyork.com:

Mother with little girl:  Excuse me. My daughter wants to know if you’re a pirate.

Woman wearing bandanna:  No. I’m just a lesbian.

An affirmation:

Thanks John! Can’t tell you how much I like the newsletter!!

Sarah was impressed last night too — she said lots of good stuff about you.

See you soon.

I had another uber productive workday with my monthly 1-on-1 with my manager (via phone, since she works in Austin), creating an “EFQ for ITIM” document for a 2:30 meeting, and then running that 2:30 meeting. Productive and rewarding.

I started to read Memoirs of a Geisha, but kept nodding off, so stopped, and took a two-hour nap.

Upon waking, I devised my Saturday and Sunday blog entries, and then laid in the bed to read.

I read six-and-a-half chapters — 75 pages. I read this book 6 years ago in October as part of:
