I went into the office today, with a note in my pocket to remind me to call mom and dad for their 53rd anniversary today. Did I remember to? At 10:30PM, I did, which of course was too late.
I’m remembering three years ago, though.
I had a full day’s work, and then stayed in the office, and worked on my 30-minute presentation that I have to do in class tomorrow. I’m discussing the article, Mobile Culture of Children and Teenagers in Finland, by two people whose names I can’t pronounce, “Kasesniemi & Rautiainen.”
My presentation agenda was:
- Main ideas and concepts
- Research methodology
- Social context of Finnish teenagers
- Test messaging culture of Finnish teens
- Unanticipated consequences of the text messaging culture
- Connections
- Promotes understanding
- Strengths & Weaknesses
- Research questions
- Discussion questions
- References
Later in the evening, I worked on the usability report for NCSU‘s DELTA organization.
I left the office at two o’clock in the morning.
