Bristol-Meyers is donating a dollar to AIDS every time someone goes to their website and moves the match to the candle and lights it. Please, please do it….and forward this to your friends to spread the word….it only takes a second to raise a dollar!

I was up at 6:30 today, and into the office by 7:15, ahead of the traffic and early enough to get a parking spot in the front row of the lot.
I am jam-packed with edits for the next two weeks — a 285-page Users Guide, a 43-page Problem Determination Guide, and an 84-page Getting Started Guide.
Working only two days a week, this will keep me busy today, Thursday, and next Tuesday and Thursday. After that, I’m on vacation for the rest of the year! Yay!
I spent a solid 6 hours on the Users Guide today — starting by running the “Terminology Extraction Tool,” and then using it to markup the 11 non-recommended terms found throughout the book, followed by getting through 5 pages of the 10 pages of unknown terms found by the tool. Tedious, but productive and satisfying.
I expected to meet only Kevin (av8rdude) at scareyoke tonight, but was delighted to receive a phone call from Joe at 10:00 saying he’d be there, too.
We played three games of pool, Joe and Tracey (from Charlotte) against me and Van (a guy we’d met several weeks ago who was back). Van and I won 2 out of 3. Who’s counting?
At about 12:30, Joe and Kevin and I went over to Legends to see the show. It was decent. Raven Simone performed and I gave her a couple of bucks tip. She did a cartwheel during at least one song. Cringe.
The three of us stopped at Shanghai Express on the way home. I got the Sesame Chicken, ate the egg roll, half of one of the two mounds of white rice they give you, and about a fourth of the chicken. Yay. Two more meals with the leftovers.
