Homework @ Helios, dinner @ Hibernian, karaoke @ Flex…

I slept in this morning, and shortly after a little breakfast, I headed over to Helios for the day to do homework.

zinnian dropped by at a little after 3:00 to bring me a whole stack of Advocate magazines. Thanks, Chris!

Joe arrived between 3:30 and 4:00, and he logged into work, while I completed my presentation for tomorrow night’s Rhetoric of Science and Technology class.

I saw a news article about a blog called The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation MarksGreat. Something else for me to be on the watch for.  Love it.

For the third Sunday in a row, Joe and I ended up enjoying Bloody Marys on the sidewalk of Hibernian. We split two appetizers for dinner.

At Flex, we played several games of pool, and then hung around for just a little while of karaoke.

Joe sang Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, and much to his surprise heard another voice singing while he was—only to find that the drag queen hosting karaoke was also singing his song—into her mic! Tacky!

I stopped at the Food Lion on Avent Ferry on the way home, where I used my $2.00-off coupon from Robert that was expiring today. 🙂
