A cold, blah, blah, blah…

I doped myself up with Nyquil last night and with Theraflu first thing this morning after a good 8 hours sleep.

I had a bagel and some coffee, was online for about an hour, and then back to bed for another two hours of sweet sleep—breathing through my nose instead of my mouth.

When I woke up, I had a voice mail message from Joe, returned his call, and then met him down at Helios.

I stopped at the NCSU bookstore on the way, where I purchased a licensed copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0 and Microsoft Word 2007—both at the student price, of course.

I spent about five hours at Helios, but didn’t get near enough homework done. Joe worked on work.

I made Beef Chow Mein for dinner tonight, and I burned my tongue eating it.

I got to Flex at about 9:45, and when Joe wasn’t there by 10:20, I left. I didn’t really want to go out tonight to begin with, as the last thing I needed with this cold was to be hanging out in a smoky bar.

I was happy to get home and have some “found time” to sneak some reading in on The Glass Castle.
