Death and taxes, a gold-in opportunity, exercising, and editing…

Death by blogging: In Web World of 24/7 Stress, Writers Blog Till They Drop. From the New York Times.

I met Kevin (av8rdude) at the gym today at 1:00, where it was another cardio day in the neighborhood.

My right knee is hurting just a little bit, so I decided to take it slowly today, which is just what I did. I listened to the two-story March 26th episode of The Story, respectively called Credit Crunch and No Time to Waste.

After our workout, Kevin and I stopped by Helios for a late lunch. We both had their PB&J on Multigrain sandwich.

When they were ready and I went to the counter to get them, I was instantly reminded that I needed to ask for grape jelly. They were both made with strawberry jelly, which I don’t much care for.

However, I was a big boy and ate it anyway, and truthfully, fully enjoyed it.

I am officially invested in gold. I got my trade confirmation from my broker today: “You bought 135 shares of streetTRACKS Gold Trust (GLD) at $90.254 per share for a total of $12,184.29 invested.” Let’s see where that goes over the next couple of years.

I finished up what I could of Jeane’s taxes, and forwarded an e-mail to her daughter and son-in-law with the questions I need answers to in order to proceed.

I had a killer, killer dinner tonight—a wrap with: some cheddar cheese, some of that peppercorn- and garlic-marinated ground turkey I made the other day, some onions, salsa, sour cream, jalapeños, and lettuce. Quite the yum!

Oh yeah, and a side of sliced cucumbers with some balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper on them.

I edited all night long. I am still so way far from being finished it’s ridiculous.
