Kevin’s car service, working from home, a late night workout, and Kevin’s last night…

My alarm went off at 7:00, and I drove over to Fred Anderson Toyota to pick up Kevin (av8rdude) who left his car there for service today.

Back at the house, we had bagels, cantaloupe, and coffee for breakfast. The cantaloupe roulette came up snake eyes. It was okay, but nowhere near as sweet as the soft spot on it tricked me into thinking it was going to be. On the positive side, I only paid 88 cents for it.

I printed off a document, signed it, and ran it over to N.C. State as soon as they opened at 9:00AM.

I edited Kate’s document from home today, and finished it. Yay!

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to the three-to-four hour security education module that I have to take by close of business tomorrow. Guess, I’ll do that tomorrow on my day off. But, I’m not bitter…

I made up some Mongolian beef (with ground turkey), and we had that on lettuce and Swiss cheese as a salad for lunch. Some good shit right there.

I made an appointment with Nathan for tomorrow at 2:00, where among other things, we’ll discuss what to do with my aunt and uncle’s CD that’s maturing in September.

At around 5:00, Kevin and I stopped by N.C. State to look for a DHL pickup/dropoff box, but didn’t have any luck finding it.

From there, I took him back to Fred Anderson to get his car, and then I drove back home, while he went on to run a bunch of errands and have dinner with Kurt.

I had a late workout tonight, from 9:00 until about quarter-til-10. It was an all-cardio workout for me. Today’s stats:

Exercise Type
Minute Duration
Calories Burned

Cardio (Treadmill)

40

500

After my workout, I devised yesterday’s and this blog entry, while listening to the outrageous Amy Winehouse. Such a great voice. Sure wish she could get her shit together.

Kevin packed his car, and is pretty much set to go in the morning. Sadness.
