A restless, short night; more Six Feet Under, dinner@CiCi’s, and karaoke and pool…

I woke up at 2:00 and couldn’t go back to sleep. At 4:00, I finally just got up. I had several cups of coffee, and worked on my pictures and notes from my trip.

When Robert got up, we had sausage patties on Hawaiian rolls for breakfast, and then we watched two more episodes of Six Feet Under to finish off DVD #2.

After Robert left, I did some laundry, and though I wanted to get to both the grocery store and the gym today, neither happened. Instead, I met Joe at CiCi’s for an early dinner. In the parking lot before we went in, he gave me a huge birthday cake that he had made me yesterday. How sweet—literally.

After we ate, he followed my to my place, where we each had a big ole piece of cake. Yum! Sprinkles—both inside the cake mix and in the frosting!

I did a load of darks, and at about 6:30, I just hit a wall—presumably because I didn’t sleep most of last night. I have got to get back on schedule with my body—both sleeping and exercising.

I took a nap for a couple of hours and then met Joe at Flex between 9:30 and 10:00 for some free pool and karaoke. We played about four games of pool, and after enough listening to karaoke for a while, we went over to The Borough for a late night snack. I had their “Which Came First?” salad, which I love.
