Dancing

I am a two-stepping and line-dancing fool! I dance every Wednesday night and every Saturday night (early) at Flex. We dance to country music, for the most part, but do a few dances to non-country songs. I started dancing in February of 2002, and I've learned close to 50 line dances to date, along with almost 12 partner dances.

Reader to the Blind
For five years I read to Milton & Jeane Perry, and became fast friends with them. When Milton passed away in 1995, I continued reading to Jeane for another five years until she moved to Washington, DC in 2001.

In May of 2004, I visited Jeane who now lives with her daughter and son-in-law in Boca Raton, Florida.

Working Out & Sports

I try to work out at least once a week at Carmichael Gymnasium on the NCSU Campus. My goal is twice a week.

I'm an avid bowler and maintain (in the vicinity of) a 185 average.

I ski in the winter and have skied in such places as Breckenridge, Keystone, and Aspen in Colorado, Park City in Utah, Snowshoe in West Virginia, Wintergreen in Virginia, and Seven Springs in Pennsylvania. I mostly stay on the blue slopes and the non-mogul black slopes. :)

I enjoy playing volleyball, soccer, tennis, and racquetball.
