I left work at around 3:30, and stopped by The Card Factory. I bought Christmas wrapping paper, some Christmas name tags for the EAGLE party, and got three mylar balloons for Robert. One said, “Happy Birthday,” one said, “50,” and the other said, “I Love You.”
Robert arrived at around 6:00 and we left for Sullivan’s at around 6:45. We were seated right away. I had shrimp cocktail and Robert had Seared Ahi Tuna for an appetizer. We each had a glass of champagne, and then split a third glass. We both had Filet Mignon for dinner, he with a side of Horseradish Mashed Potatoes and I had Creamed Spinach. The veggies were enough for two, so we had a little of each. We split the most delicious (and the largest) order of vanilla creme brulee! YUM!
We came home and Robert helped me put together my “weekend to-do list,” and then he got his birthday present, so to speak. He firmly believes that no one should not get laid on their birthday. 🙂
