I received my annual rating at IBM today. No surprises.
Book club meeting was good. A new guy, Dave, joined us. He’s a librarian at Duke. John S. went over the discussion questions, and some of added comments at the end. Russell served a nice spread, and his dining room table was quite interesting with a fish tank built into the middle of it — with no cover on it.
We decided on the next meeting — Wes’ book, Jay hosting, and Kevin providing refreshments. When we opened the door to leave, there was a coat of snow on the ground.
I invited Robert to come to Raleigh to spend the night so we could be “snowed in together on Friday.” He decided not to.
