I had a good meeting with Alan today, reviewing metrics of a quality plan, and discussing S.M.A.R.T. objectives.
Steve got in touch late in the afternoon, and invited me to his place for dinner at 7:00.
I left for Steve’s at about 6:45, which was too late. I stopped by the Food Lion and got four cans of Bacardi mixers, and then stopped by the ABC store at Mission Valley to get some rum. I ended up getting there at about 7:15, which was fine.
Brian and Julie joined us for dinner. We had chicken, which had been stewing in the crockpot all day, fresh corn, green beans, Rice-A-Roni, and some killer biscuits. And drinks of course.
For dessert, Jule ran back to Brian’s and made some delicious Rice Krispy Treats. I was amazed at how fast those things can be made.
We, the four us, watched some WebCamNow for a while, which was a little awkward, but no big deal.
After that, Brian started wrestling with Steve. He was really throwing him down on the floor. I’m betting Steve will be sore tomorrow. Julie and I were on the bed half watching Will & Grace, and half-watching them.
I left shortly after that.
