Life is good…

I had a great day at work. Can’t pinpoint exactly why, just doing work I like, and a sense of getting it done, and doing it well.

I left work at about 5:45, and made it home shortly after 6. Robert had just arrived. I basically put my stuff down, and we headed over to Cameron Village to K&W to have dinner. The Buttered Coconut pie was to absolutely fucking die for. Love it. Love it. Love it.

Robert wasn’t feeling well (stomach issues), and was not in a good place mentally. Once back at the house, he decided to not go dancing, and headed back to Chapel Hill instead.

I emptied the bag of butterscotch chips, diced up some carrots, and put them in the butterscotch chips bag. I put a post-it note on it that said, “You make such a good example.” The trap was all set for Courtney when she went hunting for some munchy sweets.

Dancing was a great time. I did Schottish with Mike, which went well. He invited me over to his house on Sunday for a small gathering out at his pool. I plan to go once the board meeting adjourns at 3:00.

I did a two-step with Vann. He’s quite the two-stepper! He asked me to dance with him because he was trying to get two Lesbians there out to dance, and they didn’t want to be on the dance floor by themselves.

Unfortunately, when I got home, Courtney hadn’t been home long, and hadn’t gone looking in the freezer for a snack. I showed her what I had done, and we had a good laugh over it anyway. She filled me in on her date.
