I got up at 11:00. At 1:00, I met Steven at Carmichael for our workout. I did 5 minutes, then 25 minutes on the elliptical machine upstairs, because it only lets you set it for a maximum of 25 minutes. I burned up 400 calories, and a good sweat.
Our walk went by so fast. When I asked Steven if this was lap 4 or 5, he said, “it’s seven! Yippee. Obviously we had a good chat while walking!
I spent most of the afternoon editing my brochure. I finally got it just like I wanted it at about 5:30, and sent it, again via the Internet” to Kinkos. They gave an estimated time of 7:30 for it to be ready.
I started on Jeanie’s taxes, but quickly came to the point of needing more information. There’s a receipt for paying real estate tax on some land in Nevada. Where did that come from? I’ve never seen this in past years, and I just find it hard to believe she bought some land in Nevada last year with all of the health problems she was going through.
I also needs more detailed information on some mutual fund purchases and sales in order to complete the section on 1099-Bs. I sent an e-mail to Phly requesting the info.
At 6:45, I showered, and then met Joe, Ben and Dale at Flex. Steve was supposed to be there at 7 with us, but ended up not showing up until about 8:30. We (me, Joe, Ben, and Dale) played many games of pool, and it was just a blast.
Later, karaoke started, and eventually Joe did two songs. He really does have a nice voice. We ate way too many peanuts. I mooned the table at one point. Needless to say, a little too much alcohol was consumed, too. Hmmm. Do I see a trend here? I hope not.
I left there after 11, and stopped by Kinkos to pick up my brochures, and there were about 6 people in there. Who knew? At 11:30 at night on a Sunday. I was real pleased with how the brochure turned out. Yippee!
