Tweaking it to death…

I was in and out during the TIGR conference call, not paying too much attention.

I met Suzanne and Sharon for lunch. Sharon and I talked about Annette, and Sharon arrived just minutes before I had to leave, and had my Catch Phrase game with her, along with my batteries.

I staffed the DNG table, for the “Community Day,” but it was lame for several reasons: 1) they didn’t need three people there, 2) not many people stopped by the table, and 3) Alfred, talking to Renae, stood in front of the table the whole time, which didn’t at all help to invite people to it.

Back at the office, I asked Rhonda to take a look at my brochure, and in hindsight, I’m glad I did. She made me think about several things I hadn’t considered, and the brochure is even better than ever now.

I sent it to Kinko’s over the Internet at about 2:30. At 4:30, I got an e-mail from them indicating that it was ready for pick-up. Cool.

I stopped by Kinko’s on the way home, and picked it up. Looks great. I’m real pleased with it. I can’t wait to show it at the board meeting.

I broiled three pork chops, but after looking up their “point count,” only ate a half of one. That’s totally not worth it. I had a delicious cup of butternut squash, which is only one point, and totally worth it. I love that stuff. What do you know, something I like, and it’s actually good for you. I left the other 2.5 pork chops in the warm oven, and ran to Carmichael to work out.

I had to take a StairMaster, as all of the elliptical machines were in use. The guy to the right of me was the hottest guy I’ve seen in a long, long time. He very much resembled Adam, and had the biceps like him, but a much more defined chest. Whew. I just kept looking at him out of the corner of my eye.

After I was finished I walked over to the “overhang” area off the track to look over and see if Steven was down there. He wasn’t, but another totally hot guy was there sitting on the ground stretching. Oh my god. Just beautiful. Stubble. Hairy, manly arms and legs. Just yum.

I washed Courtney’s sheets, and the new flannel sheets I bought a couple of weeks ago.

Steven checked in on AIM; he had gone to work out around 9ish, and said it was still crowded. He walked 2ish miles. I’m up for an increase in our mileage the next time.

Robert checked in on AIM, and left to take a bath. Sweet dreams, sweet man.

Left for the airport at about 10:50 to pick up Courtney and take her to IBM.
