My 1.5-hour PPD review meeting with Loretta in San Jose and Marina in Rome turned into a 3-hour meeting. It was a long time to be on the phone, but we got a lot accomplished, which was good.
Our department meeting on “base pay” was sort of lame, but I know it’s something Mel had to do. Annoyingly, he used a lot of “theys” again when referring to management.
I finished up the day reviewing Paul’s IDI QP metrics for 3 hours, and almost finished. I will finish them up in the morning, after the Fireworks class at NCSU.
I left work at 6, and once home put a CPK BBQ Chicken pizza in the oven. While it cooked, I changed, and got myself together for class and dancing. I ate my half of the pizza, left the other half in the oven for Robert, and left the house at about 7:05.
I checked in with Robert by phone, and he was just getting on the beltline, so we just missed each other.
Class was good; Meagan had one of those 3-feet long triangular Fed-Ex mailers with her. “What’s that, your brochure?” I asked, jokingly. “It is,” she said, “It’s a 3′ x 4′ brochure.” I said, “Oh, you’re just trying to outdo Lars!“.
We got our document analysis assignments back, and there were a lot more markings on it than I thought there’d be, and no grade on it that I could find. I think he could have explained the “format” or “elements” of the analysis that he was looking for. Oh well, I just want to pass the class, which I have no doubt about doing. If I were an undergrad, I’d be stressed out about it.
Dancing was a lot of fun. It wasn’t very crowded. I led one two-step with Rick, and it was actually great. We learned a new dance, which was quite challenging. I definitely need more practice on it, but at least it’s one I like. Ross taught it.
I spent some time talking with A.J. (“let’s just say it’s not a starter dick,” he said), and his friend, Michael, who I think is just gorgeous. I told him (A.J.) that I would be interested in a threesome sometime. He said, “Oh, that could be arranged.” Hmmmmmm.
Robert and I stopped at Snoopy’s on the way home, and I had one plain hotdog, and we split an order of fries.
Courtney was already asleep when we got home.
