Effectiveness analysis, board meeting, drag…

I spent most of the work day doing an effectiveness analysis on closed audit nonconformance. It was fun and tedious at different times. Fun to be creating something new, tedious to complete all the details involved in the analysis.

The TCW board meeting was tonight from 7-9. When I got there, only Jan was there, and we both commented about how close to “quitting” we were. When Wayne arrived she confided in us about some health issues going on with her, and then Robert, Chris, and Jessica arrived. Jessica totally energized our meeting, and dropped hints that once her tenure as the Guild president is over, she might be interested in joining our board. That would be awesome.

My phone rang toward the end of the meeting. I had forgot to put it on vibrate. I pressed the ignore button, after seeing that it was from Joe. The meeting adjourned at about 9:15.

I checked my messages and was surprised that Joe was calling about going out tomorrow night instead of tonight. Some nurses he works with want to go see a drag show. I’m going to meet them after the opera. I think that’ll be a nice juxtaposition of entertainment, the opera followed by a drag show. No shortage of “drama” tomorrow night.

I went home for a little while after the board meeting, and then went to Flex. I spoke with Ross for just a little while. He was wound up about some girl at work, and I listened to him vent about it. He also told me about a hot young college intern that just started for the summer.

I spent most of the rest of the night talking with Randy, Steve’s recently separated friend with the 3 kids.
