I have spent the entire day working on my group project for ENG 512. It’s midnight, and I have it where I want it. Tomorrow morning, I will write up the speaker notes for each slide before meeting Will and Tanya at Bruegger’s at noon.
After that meeting, I will make any corrections or updates that result from the meeting, and then spend the rest of the day finishing up the Project Notebook due on Tuesday. I cannot wait for this semester to be over.
Thank God for Chasman who lured me away from my work for an hour or respite. We met at Helios at 6PM for a cup of java and some friendship. He commented on our way out that this was only the third time we’ve met in person, which is true, but I’m as comfortable with him as if we’d met a thousand times. Nice.
I stopped at the HT at Cameron Village on the way home, and picked up a few things, one of which was Hawaiian rolls. Once home, I promptly made me three little “mini-sandwiches” using the rolls, having turkey on two and Honey-Baked ham on the other. Yum. Yum. Yum.
The rest of the night was on the project, as I stated earlier, with AIM check-ins with Robert, Steve, Randy, Charles, Tanya, and Jay.
