I met my manager today for the first time. She’s in town, from Austin, this week. She looked grayer in person than in her picture. I’m sure she had the same thought about me.
Book club met today, and everyone was present except Janet. No word from her.
I met Joe and Dougie out at Flex for scaryoke. After a while, we introduced ourselves to a guy named Eric who was here on business from Tampa. He hung out with us for the rest of the night.
At some point we made our way over to Legends, where we were let in free, and where about a total of 10 people watched the drag show.
In the bathroom, above the toilet on the wall is a flyer containing this text:

Toward the end of the show I left, and walked back to Flex, since we had ridden over there with Doug. I stopped back in.
After about 10 or 15 minutes, Doug, Joe, and Eric also returned there.
After about 10 more minutes, Eric said his adieus, and left. Right at 2:00, I left Doug and Joe talking to a real looker.
Joe and Doug had plans to go to Shanghai Express, but I don’t know whether they ever made it there or not. I’m betting Doug did at the very least. 🙂 She can’t get enough of that place.
