I met Joe at Panera Bread in Cary, and we caught up, killing time until his landlord called him to meet him at his old place to close things out there.
I left there at about noon.
I worked on transcription all day — until 9:00 PM. TEDIOUS!!!!
I have to cut and paste the words from the transcript in the doc (top)file into the textgrid (bottom)file underneath the spectrum. This involves playing, and replaying, getting the exact spot where the sound stops, handling overlapping in speaking, and replaying, and stopping, and clipping, and… Did I mention tedious???
