The evolution solution, editing context-sensitive help, mitigating nervousness, & heart-warmers…

I was surprised to see where North Carolina stood on this map.

Where (and How) Evolution is Taught in the U.S.

I worked from home today, editing Christie’s Manage Services User Interface context-sensitive help.

I canceled my 1-on-1 meeting with my manager.

Class was interesting enough tonight. The first half of it was spent listening to Jason give us six thousand things to think about while we’re presenting—all things to help us to not be nervous while presenting. Wait…

I stayed after class to get some feedback from him on my revamped defense presentation, and thank goodness he didn’t say, “It’s all crap.” He had suggestions on several pages, all of which I agreed with, and all of which are doable without too much work. Praise the &deity!

After class I had a heart-warming phone call with my incredible friend Irene from Austin, and a heart-warming AIM chat with my incredible boyfriend from Durham. Smooches to both of you!

It’s been a while since I’ve offered my blog survey. If you’ve never taken it, please do. It’s quite short. If you’ve taken it before, you’re welcome to take it again.
