Editing, show tuning, and pooling…

I worked (at IBM) from home today.  I edited Qiana’s document, but didn’t finish it.  I’ll have to finish it this weekend, and have it ready for her on Monday morning.

I napped for a couple of hours.

I went to Flex for Show Tunes Night and some free pool, which I played with Chris (zinnian). I believe he beat me all three games. Who’s counting?

During the third game, Ross and his friends arrived and signed up for the table after us. Chris got to play Ross after beating me.

At about 11:30, we went over to CCs, where there were certainly more people than at Flex, but it wasn’t overly crowded. It was Latin Night.

There was a tent set up in the parking lot outside Legends, and a table outside CCs. I thought they were selling something or looking for a donation, so I didn’t stop by.

Inside, Chris told me that they were doing free HIV testing out there.  You could “check in” at the table outside CCs, but all they did was send you over to the tent outside Legends.

I should’ve probably taken advantage of it, since my GP forgot to draw for an HIV test on my physical, but I didn’t. It was the test that you have to go back to the clinic in two weeks to get your results. That’s not the reason I didn’t do it, but I do prefer the 10 or 20 minutes results test.
