God gone Oprah, Rick’s Annual Derby Party, and dancing again…

A middle-aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table, she had a near death experience.  Seeing God, she asked, “Is my time up?”

God said, “No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live.”

Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, brow-lift, lip enhancement, boob job, liposuction, and a tummy tuck.

After her last operation, she was released from the hospital.  While crossing the street on her way home, she was hit and killed by a car.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, “I thought you said I had another 40 years? Why didn’t you pull me out of the path of the car?”

God replied, “Giiirrrlllllll, I didn’t even recognize you.”

This week’s favorite PostScecret:

Robert came over at about 3:00, and we enjoyed some Tomato-Mozzarella-Basil Bruschetta as a mid-afternoon snack.

We got to Rick’s Annual Derby Party at about 5:30. The race started at about 6:15, and it was pretty exciting, with Street Sense coming up from behind near the end and taking the roses.

Dancing was okay tonight. It felt good to dance again, as I’ve missed the last three dance nights.

The bar was kind of dead as it was Bear Hunt ’07 in Myrtle Beach, and the first Saturday of the month is traditionally bear night at Flex.

We left shortly after dancing was over.

At home we did a USA Today Crossword Puzzle, and then MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
