I edited from home all morning, and sent my markup to Christie at lunchtime.
Before leaving for the office this afternoon, I had the second third of my Shrimp Chow Mein. Better, but still not fantastic. I know I won’t waste shrimp in it the next time. The Hamburger Chow Mein is better.
Rhetoric of Science and Technology class was arduous tonight. Facilitating the discussion felt clunky, and I couldn’t wait for it to be over.
At Helios, I took longer getting focused on my Verbal Data Analysis homework than I should have or wanted to.
The best part of being there was running into Sarah.
I called my sister to wish her a Happy 47th Birthday only to find out she’s in Oklahoma until Wednesday. Oh well, at least my card will be waiting for her when she returns. I called her cell phone, but got a message about “the subscriber you’re trying to reach being out of range.”
I finished my Verbal Data Analysis homework—well the 2nd coding at least—just before Helios’ closing. Actually I’m not sure if they close at 10:00 or 11:00 on Mondays as their new website does not contain their hours. Grrrrrr!
Anyway, I left just before 10:00, stopped by the Cameron Village Harris Teeter on the way home, and then had a late, late dinner once I got home.
I’m in a funk.
