Taxi service, a conference call on an off day, working out, dinner@Red Lobster, and 120 Minutes…

I was up at nine, and picked up Kevin (av8rdude) at 10:00 to take him to the airport. I dropped him off at Terminal C for his American Airlines flight to Miami, from where he’ll depart on a Caribbean cruise with his friend Janice. It’s mostly a scuba diving trip for both of them.

Even though I was off today, I called into work for an 11:00-12:00 conference call for which I had volunteered to take minutes. Tedious.

I had another one of those killer salads for lunch today.

I met Joe at Planet Fitness at 2:30, and we worked out for an hour. My accomplishment:

I listened to some chapters of the audio version of In Cold Blood on my iPod while I worked out.

After a shower at home, I met Joe at Red Lobster at 5:00 for dinner, where his $25 gift card almost covered our $27 meal. Sweet.

And I actually got two meals out of my Broiled Seafood Stuffed Founder, brining one of the two flounder fillets home, along with half the baked potato. I’m already looking forward to lunch tomorrow.

I met Joe at Flex, where we thought it was going to be Show Tunes Video night, but alas, it was 120 Minutes. Grrrr!

We left there at a little after midnight, and stopped at Shanghai Express on the way home. I got the appetizer order of steamed dumplings. Joe got Cashew Chicken.
